Happy Foils attaches great importance to your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. This privacy policy applies to the use of our website and the related services of Happy Foils. The effective date of these terms is 01/09/2023. When a new version is published, all previous versions become invalid.

About data processing: Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.
We collect the following data: When placing an order, we ask for your (company) name, your email address, and the delivery address. If desired, a billing address, Chamber of Commerce number, and VAT number. We use this data to process and ship your order and to keep you informed by email/newsletter about the latest collections and developments.
Data that you enter when placing an order or sending a message is stored on the servers of our processor Siteground (hosting provider).
Web hosting Siteground: We use web hosting and email services from Siteground. Siteground processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. They may collect metadata about the use of services and have taken appropriate security measures.
Siteground ensures a level of security appropriate to the data being processed and takes adequate measures to protect data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For example, a secure SSL connection is used as standard.
SSL Certificate: The pages in our webshop where you enter your personal data are secured via Siteground with the SSL certificate.
Webshop software WooCommerce: Our webshop is developed with WooCommerce software. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. WooCommerce has access to your data to provide us with technical support and will never use your data for other purposes. They are obliged to take appropriate security measures.
Email and mailing lists MailChimp: We send our email newsletters via MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. You can always unsubscribe via the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our emails. Your personal data is stored securely, and MailChimp uses cookies for technical information, but not personal data.
Office365: For our business email traffic we use Office365. This party has taken technical and organizational measures to protect your and our data. They have no access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.
Payment processors Mollie: For payments in our webshop we use Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address, and payment details. They have taken appropriate security measures and may use data to improve services, with respect for your privacy.
Reviews WebwinkelKeur: We collect reviews via WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review, you provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this data with us so we can link the review to your order. They also publish your name on their website and may contact you for clarification.
Shipping and logistics PostNL: For the delivery of your order we use PostNL. We share your name and address details with them, but they only use this for the delivery. If they engage subcontractors, they also share your data with them.
Invoicing and accounting: For invoicing and accounting we may use external sales channels.
Purpose of data processing: We only use your data for our services and not for marketing purposes, unless you explicitly give your consent. We only share your data with third parties to comply with administrative obligations.
Automatically collected data: Data that is automatically collected by our website is used to improve our services, but this is not personal data.
Cooperation in tax and criminal investigations: In certain cases, we may be obliged to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by the government. We will resist this within the possibilities of the law.
Retention periods: We keep your data as long as you are our client and comply with legal terms for invoicing data. After termination of the client relationship, we keep your data for a maximum of two years from the last contact moment or transaction.
Your rights: You have various rights regarding your personal data, such as the right to access, rectification, restriction, portability, objection, and the right not to be subject to automated decision-making. You can contact our customer service regarding this.

Changes to the privacy policy: We reserve the right to change our privacy policy. The most recent version can always be found on our website. If this policy affects previously collected data, we will inform you by email.
